Searching for an apartment rarely happens on a single platform. Listings are scattered across different portals and shared in group chats. The search quickly breaks down into a mess of open tabs, screenshots, and scattered message threads. More importantly, the details that determine a final decision are buried in inconsistent prose and photo galleries across platforms that format information differently.
Flatlist does not attempt to be another listing portal or crawl the open market. Instead, it starts the moment someone decides to keep a listing. It acts as a unified private catalog that captures scattered listings, standardizes their details into comparable records, and ranks them against a personal description of the user’s “dream apartment.”
The core target audience includes students, couples, and roommates navigating fragmented rental markets. While it began with Italian rentals, the data model supports multiple currencies and measurement units, making it globally adaptable.
